I used my Sella for the first time in the mountains during a three-day hike 50km Megagrip outsole: good, not much to say. Midsole: good cushioning, but it seems to wear out too quickly. The trail I did wasn’t very technical; if I think about something like what I did this summer (around 180 km on rock), I think they would get destroyed fairly quickly. Upper: great. It breathes fairly well, resists abrasion, and dries quickly. Heel: as I mentioned, the heel area—especially when I run—gives me a bit of a “slapping” feeling. Because of that I have to tighten them a lot. I’m not sure if it’s due to the rigid plastic piece at the back or the padding (which I actually find comfortable).
